A Box Of Chocolates
A great jam for a great cause! The Hitman Blues Band (quartet) will open for a 90 minute set, then we’ll serve as the house band for an open jam. A full backline is provided, as well as a full PA.
About “A Box Of Chocolates”:
A Box of Chocolates is the fundraiser for the UU fellowship, we support many charities in the community, the big one is Bay Shore Emergency Food Pantry (which works in partnership with Long Island Cares) to whom we donate space to at the front of our building. In the past year we have made donations to The Retreat, ECLI Vibes, Main Street Fire Relief Fund at the Sayville Chamber of Commerce, Mercy Center Ministries among others. We also support individuals in need whose names we can’t share.
$20 suggested donation

A great place to catch live music, here’s their “about us” info:
We provide International and Award winning artists in a friendly atmosphere with high quality sound. Shows feature blues, blues/rock, soul, funk inspired soloists and bands on the UK and international touring and festival circuits.
Real Ale is available at events courtesy of our sponsors GADDS’ Brewery along with the usual Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, all at club prices. Food (Rolls) and other snacks available.
There is a free car park at the club and local on road parking. In the evenings visitors to the club can also use the Magnet Trade car park, Newington Road, a 3 minute walk to the club.

They preserve the heritage of UK Rhythm ‘n’ Blues that started in SW London during the 1960’s, and they present great musical acts from all over the world.

The Hitman Blues Band (quartet) appears at the amazing Charlotte’s Speakeasy. The DeVito brothers discovered this hidden gem while building Charlotte’s Desserts on the first floor of their building. They restored the speakeasy with meticulous attention to authenticity and a vibe that “comes up aces”!

Long Island Blues Society Jam
Come jam with us! The Hitman Blues Band (trio) will be playing at Katie’s of Smithtown! We’ll play about an hour, and then – OPEN JAM!
Full backline is provided, just bring your instrument. If you want to bring your own microphone, you’re welcome to – but there’ll be a full PA there as well.
And don’t forget to say hello to the resident ghost, Charlie Klein (died 1933) !
