Calamity's Child

Rappers think they know how to boast. Well, nobody beats the blues for boasting. Can any rapper top "I can heal the sick, I can raise the dead" from "Seventh Son"? On this tune, I'm showing off a little old fashioned loud mouth bluster.

When I
Speak, the thunder stops rolling
My voice knocks it out of the sky
When I'm thirsty, I reach up
And grab a cloud
And squeeze it till it's dry
I'm Calamity's Child
I'm Calamity's Child
Don't mess with me
Don't mess with Calamity's Child

I have 15 snakes for breakfast
Washed down with a barrel of gin
I can split a rock just by staring hard
Write a curse on the head of a pin
I'm Calamity's Child
I'm Calamity's Child
Don't mess with me
Don't mess with Calamity's Child

Well my mama is Destruction
And Sin is my daddy's name
I turn a good man's heart to stone
Bring a good woman down to shame
I'm Calamity's Child
I'm Calamity's Child
Don't mess with me
Don't mess with Calamity's Child

Playin' cards with the devil at midnight
And I win with a dead man's hand
Took the gold from the teeth of a sleepin' judge
Crying "Catch me if you can"
I'm Calamity's Child
I'm Calamity's Child
Don't mess with me
Don't mess with Calamity's Child
